Last day

Well, it’s my last day before my sabbatical. I’ve got mixed feelings. I’m excited. I’m nervous/anxious. Eeeeeeeeek! 🙂 Mostly, I’m excited though. To celebrate, my friends took me to lunch at our favorite Thai place, and I bought brand new nylon acoustical guitar strings.

I’ve got the strings now, so it’s time to dig out that ‘ole guitar and see if I can still make it sing.

Saturday is my first class at the Center for Book Arts. I still need to make sure that I have all my supplies. This one is on conservation enclosures. So, it’s making slip cases, a phase box, and I don’t know what else. It’s supposed to feature an enclosure used by the Library of Congress, but I’m not sure what that is – it could be the phase box for all I know. What I do know is that I’m truly looking forward to this.

Let the journey begin!
